Jira Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a JIRA and Confluence Administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our Atlassian tools. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of both JIRA and Confluence, ensuring they effectively meet the needs of our users and support our business processes.

Responsibilities:

Configure JIRA projects, workflows, boards, and custom fields.
Manage user accounts and permissions.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track project progress and team performance.
Automate workflows and processes to improve efficiency.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to JIRA users.
Confluence:

Create and manage Confluence spaces and pages for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Establish and enforce best practices for content creation and organization.
Integrate Confluence with other applications and tools.
Administer user access and permissions for Confluence.
Provide support to Confluence users.
General:

Stay up-to-date on the latest features and functionalities of JIRA and Confluence.
Identify opportunities to improve the user experience and optimize the use of both tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Document processes and procedures related to JIRA and Confluence administration.
Perform system backups and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a JIRA and/or Confluence administrator (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and APIs (a plus)
